Welcome to I&Bco. The I&B are Ivy and Bruce, local Merrickville artists and residents.
We moved to Merrickville after careers in Ottawa as we both grew up in small towns. We love the sense of community, being able to live on the water and enjoy the land.
We live in an interesting time with a renewed interest in health and wellbeing. One constant over centuries in wellness is the use of essential oils. Ivy’s passion for wellness, always present curiosity, and professionalism, inspired enrollment in a master accreditation program in aromatherapy.

Ivy’s products are created based on general needs or as requests from customers. The ingredients, containers and even the labels are sourced in Canada to support our economy. Each ingredient is carefully researched, sourced and then tested to obtain the perfect balance.

Our first product was based on need. We created a hand sanitizer that was legally effective, yet moisturizing with a pleasant scent. We earned an NPN (Natural Product Number) from Health Canada. We now supply many local merchants as well as the largest government department as part of their COVID protocols.
