The event will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. \nWhile the Chamber of Commerce remains a neutral and non-partisan organization throughout the electoral process\, we believe it is important to provide the business community and residents of Merrickville-Wolford with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates seeking office. \nTo that end\, the Chamber is pleased to host a moderated question forum\, designed to facilitate informed and respectful dialogue on the issues that matter to our community. The forum will give constituents an opportunity to learn more about the candidates\, hear their perspectives and priorities\, and gather information to help them make an informed decision in the upcoming municipal elections. \nThe Chamber’s role is not to endorse or advocate for any candidate\, but rather to support an informed electorate by creating a fair and impartial platform for candidates to engage with the community. \nSeating is limited and doors will be closed once capacity is reached. \nFurther information will be made available in the very near future about how constituents can submit questions for consideration.

DESCRIPTION:The 9th annual Thanksgiving Market and Autumn Festival\, hosted by Pickle and Myrrh and Heritage Stable\, will occur October 10\, 2026. \nOver 100+ local vendors will have handmade art\, pottery\, clothing\, crafts and tasty treats for everyone to enjoy! Artisan bread\, pies\, caramels\, preserves\, maple syrup and flowers to adorn your Thanksgiving tables\, and maybe even some fall decor with local pumpkins\, cornstalks and straw bales. \nArrive early to enjoy a  Community Pancake Breakfast. Spend the day enjoying HAY RIDES\, a petting zoo\, live music\, food trucks and face painting. Musical Ride performances\, onsite demonstrations and horsy fun round out festivities.\n\nFree admission for children 2 and under. Youth (3-15 years) admission is $11.83.\n
