All candidates moderated question forum

The Chamber of Commerce is hosting a moderated question forum for all candidates on October 5, 2026 at the Merrickville Community Centre. The event will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

While the Chamber of Commerce remains a neutral and non-partisan organization throughout the electoral process, we believe it is important to provide the business community and residents of Merrickville-Wolford with an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates seeking office.

To that end, the Chamber is pleased to host a moderated question forum, designed to facilitate informed and respectful dialogue on the issues that matter to our community. The forum will give constituents an opportunity to learn more about the candidates, hear their perspectives and priorities, and gather information to help them make an informed decision in the upcoming municipal elections.

The Chamber’s role is not to endorse or advocate for any candidate, but rather to support an informed electorate by creating a fair and impartial platform for candidates to engage with the community.

Seating is limited and doors will be closed once capacity is reached.
